We are extremely excited to announce the launch of Proxy, our automated AI assistant.
2025 is set to be a massive year in the world of AI assistants and we just couldn’t keep this product from you any longer. Proxy is a huge step forward in our mission to bring the power of machine learning to a wider audience, letting people and businesses free themselves from time-consuming repetitive tasks, whilst creating more time for human innovation and creativity.
Proxy is designed to interact with the web on your behalf, navigating sites, forms, databases, and pretty much anything else you can throw at it, in much the same way as a human. It will function both as a useful personal assistant for mundane life-admin and as a skillful and efficient colleague in the workplace. Uniquely, Proxy is customisable and has automation built in, allowing users to ‘set and forget’ their key tasks to repeat again and again.
This isn’t a research project, designed to show off the skills of our developers. Instead it is a functioning, practical tool designed to help people in the real world, whether that involves analysing huge sets of data and code, or simply booking a flight and scheduling some emails.
The applications are seemingly limitless and we truly believe that this product can enhance productivity around the world. That’s why, from today, we’re offering it globally, with an unprecedented free tier for new users and unbeatable paid plans from just $20 per month, setting a radical new benchmark for the entire industry.
Across the world, Proxy will reclaim millions of hours for humanity, so we can spend more time fixing the world’s problems, growing our businesses, and enjoying ourselves with friends and family.
Proxy was built from the ground up with user simplicity in mind. That means you can set Proxy working for you by typing just a couple of sentences in your normal everyday voice. There’s absolutely no tech knowledge or coding skills needed to get things going. If it does get stuck, Proxy will ask you for some simple clarifications or preferences for how you want to move the task forward.
Where Proxy begins to accelerate away from the competition is that it can learn and repeat tasks, getting more efficient every time. For example, an academic could set up a repeating breakdown of key scientific developments to be delivered to their inbox every Friday, or a trader could ask Proxy for a daily analysis of foreign markets to read over their morning coffee. You don’t need to log on and prompt Proxy every time, it just remembers and gets it done.
There’s layers of security and safety built in too, so when it comes to spending money and sharing your details, Proxy will never act without your permission.
Think of Proxy as an incredibly patient, reliable, and great value team of helpers looking after your life in the online world.
There’s lots of AI assistants on the horizon and they will play a key part in helping the world progress as we increasingly lean on tech and the digital world to help solve our problems. Whether it’s advancing environmental science, increasing efficiency in manufacturing and transport, or improving the way we teach our children, AI assistants will be by our side.
So what does Proxy offer that others don’t? Why do we believe that our particular product is so vital as we stand on the precipice of the AI revolution?
Most people will be aware that at the time of writing, one of our competitors, the US behemoth OpenAI, have just released their own AI assistant, Operator. We know that a huge amount of work will have gone into the product and we support any positive step forward in the AI world. However, we believe that our plucky team in London have created a genuine rival that either meets or outstrips Operator across the board.
Firstly, our top-tier WebVogager score attests to the robustness, accuracy, and power behind Proxy, which currently sits in a world-leading position across many testing metrics. Our product is also unique in the way that it learns repeatable tasks, something our competitors are yet to catch up with. Finally, our product is launching globally, not just in the US, and comes in 10X cheaper than Operator, with the addition of free credits for new users.
Understandably, we are very proud about what we have achieved and think that we can claim a bold win for both European tech and underdogs everywhere.
Proxy is the result of years of intensive thought and development about what’s possible with a fully automated AI assistant. Yet this is just the start.
We are already working on several features that will enhance Proxy over the coming months.
For example, our Parallel Agents feature will allow two or more Proxies to harness the power of multitasking, future-proofing the system and doubling down on speed and efficiency. Likewise, we’ll be enhancing our Custom Workflows so users can create unique task-solving sequences that fit their routines, with the added option to share or sell these to other users through our forthcoming Market Place feature. Users will soon also be able to use Proxy to upload, download, and analyse documents, making things like job-hunting and recruitment tasks a breeze.
Our plan for the future has always been collaborative and community focused. We want our users to stretch and challenge the capabilities of Proxy so we can continue to improve its functionality. By taking Proxy into unchartered territory we hope to find new applications and industries that will provide inspiration for our developers as we continue to improve the product.
So here’s Proxy. Take it. Test it. Let us know how you get on. We’re incredibly proud and excited to set our creation free and look forward to seeing where you will take it.
Thanks for your interest and support,
Marvin, Andy, and everyone at Convergence.
